Just like our charitable aims, our Barbarian Rugby is also inclusive and differentiated. At senior level the IKEA Props Barbarians are able to field sides at all levels of ability from top grade rugby to the sedate pace of “vets”, depending, of course, on our opposition!
The quality of the rugby remains the same: flair and fair play, with a celebration of skill and sportsmanship. Our Senior Barbarian rugby is managed by a mixture of professional and local players. The Barbarians are the main fund raising arm of Props.

Our junior and mini sides are truly inclusive, and a fine example of an inclusive project in action. These teams have the same high quality aims as their senior counterparts and boast players from a wide section of society including those with special needs. Our juniors and minis have earned the support of Sportsmatch and are supported by Bristol, Bath and Gloucester Premiership Rugby Clubs.
