The 2007/08 season has got underway for the Junior Props Barbarians. The Babaa's travelled to Supermarine, Swindon, in 2007 to take on their Wiltshire counterparts. A most thrilling game took place, with some truly first rate rugby on show. The Babaa's took the spoils on the day, but it takes two teams to create a great game, and we offer our thanks to the boys and girls of Supermarine who played the game in a great spirit. Another game will take place at Supermarine RFC in 2008, as well as other events for the Junior Babaas during the 2007/08 season. Here's some of the highlights of the game in 2007 at Supermarine:
The IKEA Mini Props Barbarians were guests of the RFU at the England Saxons V Ireland A game in 2007. The Props youngsters performed a curtain raiser before the big game and were aided by Bristol's Matt Salter and Rob Higgitt, as well as Gloucester's Jonathan Pendlebury. The quality of the game, and indeed the project drew praise from the Bristol and Gloucester men, who were stunned by the high level of skills on show
